Alexander’s Abilities has been providing services to individual with developmental disabilities since 1991. We provide after school programs, summer programs and camps for children as well as adult day programs.

Our programs are goal oriented Day Treatment and Training with emphasis on community access and interaction. We also offer expanded hours utilizing Respite and Habilitation. Our individuals like to hike, bowl, attend community events, and utilize community centers, libraries, parks and shopping centers. Other activities include, but are not limited to cooking, arts and crafts, physical fitness, sports, movies, gardening and volunteering in the community.

Our volunteer activities include working at the Mesa Cannery packaging beans and rice, helping out the South Mountain Rangers with park cleanup and special projects, volunteering at the Prehab Thrift Stores and volunteering with Saint Mary’s Food Bank. We encourage suggestions for activities from all of our families for anything that might be going on in our community. We encourage cultural awareness and celebrate all cultures.
